CARE

These pieces have been carefully made to the highest standard and packaged thoughtfully.

Please don’t wear your jewellery when showering, bathing, in the sea or swimming pools. Chlorine and sea salt can make the metal tarnish and damage the piece.

Over time silver does tarnish leaving it with a dull or dark look that can wear off onto clothes and soft furnishings. Please follow the below advice to keep it looking its best. Chloe is happy to refinish jewellery free of charge please just contact for details.

Please apply creams, lotions, potions and perfumes before putting on your jewellery. Sprays such as hairspray can damage and tarnish the metal.

Please keep your jewellery clean in an airtight container, out of direct sunlight. Keep the piece flat, not twisted. Twists and tangles can damage chains and can weaken the links. Taking care of your jewellery will allow it to last a lifetime.

Although unglamorous, keeping your jewellery in a zip lock bag is often the best way to keep it looking its best.

To clean your piece, submerge it in lukewarm water and gently brush with an old soft toothbrush. Rinse and dry thoroughly. With pieces from the Rhythm collection please be aware that the inside of the tube can still be wet when the rest of the piece is dry. We recommend leaving the piece to dry for an hour or so over a gentle heat like a radiator covered with an old towel.

If you are using a tarnish removing solution like Goddards Silver Dip please ensure you follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully and thoroughly rinse the item after following the above guidance.

Please be aware that plated finishes wear off over time but with careful wear and storage the piece can last well for a significant amount of time. Please contact Chloe to arrange to have your piece replated at a small cost.

General wear of jewellery over time will affect the finish of the piece, satin will polish up and polished pieces will become more matte. Contact Chloe to have your piece refinished.

Chloe hand finishes all of the pieces with her unique linear matte, please be aware that if you have a piece refinished it may have a slightly different look due to the handmade nature of the work.

Anything set with precious or semiprecious stones needs to be carefully looked after. If you notice any movement in your setting please return it to Chloe for an assessment. Chloe offers a free check up service for any work. Contact for more details.

VARIATIONS

Please be aware that as everything is handmade there will be variations within the pieces. Stones in online description may only be for illustration purposes. Contact Chloe if you are looking for something specific.

Chloe’s linear matte finish is hand done and varies piece to piece please be aware of this.
